Are you using a Digital Camera? -Yes What brand did you buy? -Canon Make and model? -EOS 10D Price range? -$1499 (for Body) How many mega pixels? -6.3 What kind of photography do you shoot? -Street, Event and Studio Ease of use? -A little more complicated than a film SLR, exposure latitude in between print film and slide film Did you read the manual? -3 times before I took the first shot What does the camera record on? (ie: CD, memory stick, file disk etc.) -Compact Flash (including Microdrives) Is this method cost effective? -Yes What kind of battery/batteries does your camera take? -Lithium-Ion rechargable battery packs Do you consider this Cost effective? -Yes; camera comes with one battery pack and recharger Would you consider this camera a good value for your money? -Yes; with what and how much I shoot it has already paid for itself in film and developing costs Would you recommend this camera to a friend? -Yes Is this camera a D-SLR? -Yes Pros and Cons? Anything else you would like to add? -Cons: Lenses are extra. Larger compact flash cards are expensive. Learning curve is a little steep. -Pros: Almost all EOS accessories work with the 10D (lenses, flashes, filters, etc.). Great color rendition, especially skin tones. EOS DIGIC Processor creates extremely low noise levels in photos making ISO 1600 and 3200 very usable.
