Hello all - so finally it is done :o). The "little" posing-tutorial of mine is online. This work started so long ago I really can't remember when I started it. It must be somewhere in spring of 2003. However, I don't want to tell too much stories ABOUT it - go and READ it for yourself :o). As there were so many people involved here comes the big THANK YOU to: The order of their appearance has nothing in common with their importance: **************************** Wyndwalker, Kalypso, Gordana, Phoenix4, Jeweldragon, Eirian, Lara, Puntomaus, Fredy, LadyFire_ice, Romanceworks, MaPPer, Antje, Doro, Spiritbro77, rockets, Fyrene, Lorraine, Rasputina, Turtle, nikitacreed, Kiera, silverstar, WillArt, Fly, Asmendia Without your images this tutorial would not look that beautiful as it now finally looks like :o). Thank you for your accreditation for letting me use them. **************************** Silencersangel, Fly, ashara, lara, Akinom, Cad-Man The so-called "German-Team" :o). Without your help this tutorial would never have THIS words as it has now. More eyes do see more errors. I was glad I had so much beautiful eyes more available. **************************** Thomas Greiber, Wolfgang Schoenfuss, Matthias Blum The "translator-team". Well, I think I would be still translating this tut into English without your help :-). **************************** Lucy Fur, shadownet, HeavyRay, Royc8, Karen 1573, Kelly Christiansen, Fake Master, Stacey, Shadow Dancer The "English-Team". Without your help I would've lost so much from the original German version. **************************** ashara, Jan Kowalke, Gekko, (myself - lol) The "models" - the real people who were brave enough to show themselves off :--). You'll understand when you read the tutorial. A speical thank you goes to Questor - for letting me use his props. **************************** Tigge + Hobbes, Curious Labs The first hosters of this tutorial. A special thank you goes to Ulrich Klumpp (at Curious Labs) **************************** You see, a lot of people were involved in the realisation of this "project" (please forgive me if I forgot to mention YOU) that was meant to be totally free. This wasn't an easy decision - especially when you look at the "size" of this tutorial. So, what is left ?? Well, I hope you enjoy reading it - it was really a big joy for me to write this all down (well, not everytime - but when I'm looking back and then look at the result ...) You can find it here: http://www.curiouslabs.com -> Support, Tutorials, Posing tutorial by Stephan Schoeneberg (or follow the news-link at the first site -> at the moment) 1st mirror-link: http://www.zotteltierhobbes.de/files/posing.zip -> German version http://www.zotteltierhobbes.de/files/taop.zip -> English version Happy posing (I hope it'll be easier from now on) Stephan Schoeneberg (Schlabber)

hugs Stephan T'was a pleasure all the way. And the least I could do for all your generosity and kindness :) I'm glad you've found hosts for it - especially at CL.

KEWL...thanks so much! I have a question before I download it though....are these backwards? Tutorial in German Language (posing.zip 10.74 MB) Tutorial in English Language (taop.zip 10.67 MB) seems to me the english one would be named posing and the German one would be named taop.........

Thank you Schlabber, and thank you to everyone who worked on this project. This is a great gift to the community from the Master of Posing. I've been looking forward to this for a long time, because for some reason posing is my Poser weakness. It will be exciting to work with the tutorial this weekend!

uli_k ( ) posted Fri, 30 January 2004 at 8:21 PM

Hi Dizzie, posing.zip does indeed contain the German version, whereas taop.zip contains the English one. Make you choice...

Schlabber ( ) posted Fri, 30 January 2004 at 8:22 PM

no dizzie - lol - this is correct taop means "The art of posing" posing is German "Ein Lesebuch zum Thema Posen" as it describes the work (posing)

Schlabber ( ) posted Fri, 30 January 2004 at 8:23 PM

crosspost - Uli - lol

I just spent the last hour browsing through this, and all I can say is WOW! I haven't worked through any of it yet, but I think even a dense chef with no artistic background like myself will be able to get something from this. This is a awesome piece of work. Thank you for sharing this.

Great news! I hope that you take a spot of time to rest and recharge the batteries now that this monumental work is finally done and in our eager hands. Thank you many times over, Carolly

Schlabber ( ) posted Sat, 31 January 2004 at 8:39 AM

lol - Carolly - don't hit me ... but there are more than 500 poses are waiting to get ready for a product and there are around 200 poses waiting for being archived (for free) So resting ... uhm, not really (giggle)

shadownet ( ) posted Sat, 31 January 2004 at 8:51 AM

Well I lucked up and Schlabber asked me to proof read the beta version, all I can say is I did not want to put it down. I read it front to back in one sitting because it is THAT GOOD! The time, thought, and energy that Schlabber, and others, put into making this tutorial is considerable. It will become the tutorial of choice, I think, for all future Pose makers. Thanks Schlabber!

Thank you so much. This will be an invaluable resource. I have the greatest respect for those who write tutorials as it is not the easiest of tasks. Thank you Schlabber! ;) Indoda
