A new person would be hard pressed to figure out where the Poser information is hidden when there is so much bickering going on.

I'm fairly certain that anyone with an IQ slightly higher than a turnip can figure out what it related to Poser and what is OT (usually just from the post title, but even then from what I have seen here people are fairly good about marking OT as OT).

A lot of people do not visit the OT forum (I do not unless something gets moved). When someone wants their friends/colleagues to see something they will likely post where those people hang out.

Pretty soon we will be seeing "Please go see my OT post in the OT forum" so people can let the people they want to see their post know where they posted it.

Why is it any harder to skip on by OT than it is to skip by the Poser 5 stuff when you only have Poser 4. Not every thread is going to be of interest to every person reading the board period.

What is so hard about just skipping things that don't interest you (you being general here not directing this at any one person).
