WOW, am I glad that's over, this Challenge has certainly stretched my capabilities to the full and unfortunately I had to post a joke in the end as I had wanted to post something !! I now know Bryce will not render a 5000+ object, volumetric water and fancy lighting image, simply the quickest crash I've ever had. I'm sure Phil will join me in saying a big thank you to all of the entrants, I certainly never expected so many entries and of such a high standard and as has been said already judging is extremely difficult. However, based on realism as the main criteria my humble opinion is........ Stephen Ray.......3 Points I just keep going back to this image, so much to see in different textures and ambience. The right side has the appearance of a water colour painting (no pun intended). Marvellous picture, my No.1 by a long way. Chewbacha.........2 Points Never seen anything like it, absolutely stunning image, so simple, so complex, so original, so deserving to win but.... Vile..............1 Point I'm a sucker for killer whales anyway but this image is so realistic it presents beauty on the one hand and the ferocity of the beast on the other. Amazing picture. Many congratulations to my winners and commiserations to my runners-up (but only by a whisker)....
