Exports have to be UV mapped for the textures to map correctly in Bryce and the textures have to be image files or solid colors. .OBJ's are nice cause there are text files and a number of 3rd party apps for manipulating them (like www.uvmapper.com) and the image files are external so they're easy to change in paint programs. .3DS is also good - they're binary files so they load fast and are small in size but they don't include any smoothing data and the texture data is (often) internalized. You can do some architectural work inside Bryce but I would think it would be far easier (and more satisfiying) to do it in max/lw. HTH; Dan
