lhiannan, your sock drawer is very talented. Please pass on my compliments. :) I always thought that art was about human beings communicating with one another. If you try to restrict that communication to "just" art, and omit all the other human transactions, it all gets self-referential and boring very quickly. I was once a member of Another Forum that probably still can't be named here. It was once a major force in the Poser community. One day, the owners decided to clear out the threads that were "just" people having fun; from now on, all posts would be relevant only to the production of Great Art. Result? Members left that forum in large numbers, and it is now dead. My point? Who is to say what is on topic and what is off topic in an art forum? This off-topic post has already produced several entertaining pictures. It is acting as inspiration to artists, just as an art forum should. So maybe it isn't off topic at all. I'm going for a lie down now. Feel dizzy. :-o
