Subject: When do you offer for free and when do you sell

Interesting question... If you feel that your effort really does deserve some kind of financial compensation, then in my humble opinion you should go ahead and try to sell it. The worst that could happen is that it doesn't sell and it gets forgotten. Another factor you might want to consider is whether or not the model (product) you are offering has a potential market. If you are creating something very specialized and obscure (i.e. "neolithic bottlecap collection), chances are it will not sell very well. :o) Your best bet... as a merchant just starting out, is to offer your initial attempts as a freestuff item. It's a learning exercise. You'll improve your workflow and productivity with future releases. You'll get a better sense of what works and what doesn't. Plus, you'll be able to start establishing your presence here. Just suggestions... :o) Cheers! M
