Brent - I'll let Sergeo give you the low down on this .. ;) Serg.. ? I can help ya get them "Poser ready" when you get to that point. Ok - I'll try to give it a stab...Its not to bad. Get your model in Carrara. Export it as OBJ if its not already and re-import that OBJ. Go into the modeling room. Now when we talk about chopping up the model we are talking about naming polygons for specific body parts like the head, lEye, rEye, neck, hip, lThigh, etc... Basicaly select the parts you want like the neck. Make sure you have all the polygons that are needed for the neck selected then do a Detach Polygons. Then do a Name Polygons and name it neck. Do this for all the body parts, fingers, arms legs etc... Its a long tedious process but the results are great. Once you have the figure broken up you can Export the OBJ, run PHI Builder on it to setup the heirarchy for Poser to use. Run UV Mapper on the OBJ to create a blank Texture map for the OBJ. Bring the PHI file into Poser and then set all the Joint Parameters in Poser. Long process...I can get more detailed on the PHI Builder, UV Mapper, bringing it into Poser and Joint Parameter settings down the road. There are many many steps and many programs that come into play. Ok - I hope that helps to some extent. ;) If not just post back. Clint
