Good gracious gopher guts, but we already have horses, lions, and dolphins. They could be improved a bit, but why not make something we do NOT have, but need? Where are the ferrets, badgers, ermines, weasels, groundhogs, hedgehogs, llamas, alpacas, hippos, (etc.)? I can more readily justify spending money on a badger or hedgehog than yet another horse (I own 4?). It is hard to do a jungle scene without hippopotomi and crocodiles, or an adventure in the Andes with no pack animals, or fairytales without talking animals, or westerns without prairie dogs. Packrats, gophers, weasels, and groundhogs are useful metaphors as well as adding to the reality of a scene. Frankly, I'm tired of rewarmed and rehashed figures. Carolly
