When I graduated from the UofA as a Geologist, I had a real decent offer to begin my career on an offshore rig. 9 months on, 3 months off, real good money. My daughter was less than 2yrs. I decided to stay in town and take a filler job. I did not want to miss her growing up. I made the right choice for me.
