Subject: pz3 not opening properly in poser 5

estherau ( ) posted Wed, 04 February 2004 at 7:16 AM · edited Sun, 01 December 2024 at 4:43 AM

Hi, I have my idaz folder in the right place in poser 5, and poser 5 is pointed at my poser 4 runtime. I saved a scene as a PZ3 but when I went to open it I had black lights and no visible figures at all. Any ideas? Love esther

could have been corrupted when you saved it I have had that happen before. Just a guess. Don't run P5 so am not sure that is what the problem is.

You imported the PZ3. Don't do that unless there is a scene/figure that you need added to the one you already have running. Then you would need to delete the extra lights unless you saved the PZ3 without lights. Right click on your Saved PZ3 and Open with P4/P5. All the lights will work. Everything will work the right way.

sorry I shouldn't have used the word import. I just go to file and open then select my pz3 but it just doesn't seem to have saved properly. Love esther

I forgot the "If" at the beginning of my sentence. My fault. Try opening it back up in P4, if it works, re-save. If not, then the PZ3 is no good, or maybe a file path is not set up right in P5.

I'm not sure poser 4 is working anymore since I installed poser 5. I'll have to check later. Love esther
