Just started this yesterday. everything except the man and woman was modeled in wings. i need to do some work on the textures but over all its moslty done. any comments and suggestions are welcome.

I really like the floor texture! The only problem I am seeing is that there is no shadow under the man's body, so that he appears to be floating in air. Since there is a light directly over him, there should be a strong shadow, IMHO. Just my $.02

Fractals will always amaze me!

you could stand to run a mesh smooth or two on the light fixtures, and the texture on the floor is a little busy for my tastes, but it's got promise to be a really interesting work!

I do agree with the points already made by tresamie & Slakker. The ceiling could use more shadows and maybe a different mat because it looks a lot like an open sky and the lights and bracket type structures don't appear to be attached to it. Otherwise this scene is coming along nicely!

Lighting is everything. Maybe turn off all lights apart from one behind the far door and a radial in the lightbulb above the body? Might get some real nice shadows going on then?

Yes, I thought this was an open alleyway at first. The lamps don't seem to cast any light, and the tiling of the floor texture is a bit obtrusive. The glowing white square doesn't look real.

thanks for everyones input, im trying to get the shadow to show up on the dead guy but for some reason its not working. i have turned off all lights and there are 2 radial lights in each of the light fixtures. ill work on the scene a little bit later but for now, its fooding time

Hey! I found the link I was looking for! This guy has some terrific lighting tuts that I really think might be what you are looking for. Take a look and see what you think.
