I believe the words are part of Seneca's Art. As a Catholic, I HOPE he is trying to say this: The Catholic Church of the Middle Ages and the Inquisition was no better than the Nazis, the Bolsheviks, and the KKK. Don't judge today's Catholics by their Middle Ages counterparts. Don't judge today's Germans by the Nazis. Don't judge today's Russians by the Bolsheviks. Don't judge today's American Southerners by the KKK. Move on and forgive the wrongs of past generations.
