Because the loss, to them, from people who won't make a cent is minor compared to the millions that their ventures bring in. An image. To us, who have nothing (or assumedly), it's a huge blow if we're just struggling to 'make it'. I'm sure it comes off hypocritical somewhere along the line, there's my tuppence. Me? I just want to help a friend stretch his creative wings as he encourages me in stretching my own. If they shut us down... well, at least we tried and that beats any failure. :)
