I think the question relates more to the generic names "Figure 1", "Figure 2", etc. Poser assigns these itself, more or less based on the order figures are loaded into the scene. If I'm not mistaken, Beos53 is trying to figure out which of the figures in the scene in Figure 1, and so on. The simplest method I can think of is to simply click on the figure and see which name shows up on the active figure label (on the lower left just under the window, at least on my setup). You can then select "body" from the list right beside it, go to the Object menu item, select Properties, and change the label to something more meaningful.
