If you want a friendly user interface LordNakagawa, there are a couple of good alternatives to consider. I believe you will still have to use the emulator's if you want to run windows stuff, but I have found the UI to be very easy and very (should I say it!) "windows like" :) All of these are good, legitimate and fully loaded operating systems that include a large variety of Linux compliant software: Linux Mandrake: http://www.mandrakesoft.com/ Suse Linux: http://www.suse.com/ Lycoris: http://www.lycoris.com I have never run RedHat, but am familiar with those above. In fact, I think you will find Lycoris very much like XP in terms of look and feel. The guy who created it once worked for Microsoft as I recall:) Also, there are lots of good alternative programs to those created for Windows. And you can't beat Linux for web use! :)
