.exe doesn't work on the Mac. We may be a smaller group, but we are vocal, and do purchase. Even though I also have a PC, so can extract exe files, I don't even download free .exes. Too much risk of viruses and too much trouble. For Macs, beware of too long file names or path names, use : in lieu of to separate the path parts, and use zips or sits to compress. They do not need to be self-extracting. Most of us use MacConverter (which functions as a decoder, too) and MacInstaller to get our files into place within Poser. Stuffit will zip and stuff (and open such files) and the basic app is free for both PCs and Macs. For encoding, rte has been a problem for PC users, but that may be solved now. Depending upon what parts of another company's mesh are used, there are ways to ensure that the consumer has the required file(s) so that copyright can be preserved. Carolly
