Are you shure it's that, or perhaps Poser? After 3 serious renders, (P5 with SP3) simply stops whilst loading materials it loaded the three previous times. And I have 1,5GB DDRam. Up to now, I never really had problems, but I never really tried to use the prog before. And I'm only using one V3 with long hair, no background and a decent set of lights. So I understand your rant.
