Looking great. I definitely love the lighting in the second one better. As for your waterfall, at that distance you could use a volume texture fairly easily... I'd try some volume clouds with some rocks. I love the river... it's very realistic. However, to me, it's fighting the rest of your composition. Maybe have the bend the other way?
