I believe that when one stops learning, one is dead. Started using Poser with version 1, still have the floppies. Haven't had the time to spend on it that I'd like (too many other things to learn, too!) My first, personally owned computer was a magnesium alloy Pickett N902-ESlike the ones they did most of the work for the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs on.
