Carolly, tsk tsk... You expect realism in fantasy armor? Shame! Actually, the clothing was designed in the style of clothing worn by Xena in the T.V. series, and no one can call that real. It does look good in a NVIAT pic, and Dodger (the infamous) did a very nice job on the modeling on the set. For $1.99, it's still a bargin, even if you wouldn't ever wear it to a real set-to. You're dead on though about the usefulness of clothing like that in battle. The hair would have to go too. Never give an opponent something to grab on to in a close fight, and that pony tail is just too tempting.
