Facegen and yes you are right its expensive and it says that it cant be used with poser 5.
Actually, it can. You just can't import the models directly.
To create a FaceGen head, and tack it onto a Poser figure -- takes some effort and has a steep learning curve.
But -- one can achieve spectacular results. I've seen it done.
A quote from the Singular Inversions website FAQ section:
*Is FaceGen compatible with Poser ?
FaceGen Modeller exports to OBJ which is supported by Poser. In addition, Poser 5 contains FaceGen data in the face room. However the Customizer and PhotoFit products will not work directly with Poser 5, and Poser 5 cannot read FG files.*
So, one can create a head in FaceGen, and export it into Poser. But Poser cannot read native FaceGen format files.
They have plug-ins for some higher end apps such as 3DS and Maya.
But, admittedly, the whole thing is rather involved.
Like I said before....this is for someone that wants to go the whole route for a face modeller.
