The golden rule with the face room appears to be, use the best pictures you can in the first place - ie at the right angles etc. Secondly move the points very slowly! It is easy to end up with a troll. I have had reasonable success so far (see my William 'Spike' Don picture and self-portrait in the gallery - not great works of art but getting away from default Don and Judy).
