What would you like to see in our upcoming pose and animation packs for the Cubed Babies? Is animation important to you at all? What ratio of poses to animation would you prefer? 50:50? 75:25? 90:10? Would you like to have poses that work in combination with adult figures? If so, which figures? Tell us what you would like and we'll create it for you! Chris

Here's a challenge for you ... that dancing baby animation, as seen in Ally McBeal.

Dancing Baby is an imperative. Or a two-halting steps, wobble, SitDownFast and cry (or laugh)routine - hours of fun on any new parent's home videos. How about a couple varieties of diaper-changing pose sets and animations? Anything from a straight change, to a comedic "lil whizzer" scene or "Eeeeeeew! variations. Both with male or female adults for equal time. Of course that's mean an actual folding morphing diaper or pamper instead of the pre-formed uni-shorts.

Hey Chris! I don't do animation altough many do. Would be cool to have the dancing baby though. LOL I would like to see "holding poses: like when mommy and dady is holding them. As for which adults. the Mikes and Vics and Stephs but there are a lot of people still using P4. Ever watch the Rugrats? Can get all kinds of cool pose ideas from there. LOL

Here's a challenge for you ... that dancing baby animation, as seen in Ally McBeal. I think Character Studio comes with a motion capture file for that. I remember applying the same dance to a monkey and it was really funny.

Please, Please, Please... do a lot more animations! I personally want as much animation as I can get, but I also know it is not for everyone. I would recommend a ratio of 50:50. 50% animation and 50% poses, that way everyone can get what they need. I would like to see some walking (or them trying to walk) animations. Picking up objects animations, drinking from a bottle animation, and I also agree with what leather-guy said, "a two-halting steps, wobble, SitDownFast and cry (or laugh)routine". I like animations showing the baby exploring his/her new world. Just normal baby animations. As for poses: I would like to see a mixture of just baby poses, and Baby with Adult poses (like holding poses). I would like to see the adult poses for Mike, Vic, and Stephanie.

I have to say that I think Dylan wonderful. It brings back memories.

like animations showing the baby exploring his/her new world<< When I first read this sentance I thought exploring, said exploding :) Sorry, thought it was funny little brain burp on my part. As for animations I would have to second ( or third of 4th) the dancing baby animation that would be great. I have no use for babies, but am anxiously awaiting some more animals, how about ones that aren't available?

Great ideas everyone! As for the dancing baby - the thing that always bugged me about the 3DSMax dancing baby that was seen on Ally McBeal is that it was just an ordinary motion capture dance that was put on the baby. If we do a baby dance, I want to do it like a baby would do it if they knew the moves - wit ha complete lack of co-ordination. That would be far cuter! What do you think of having separate packs for poses and animation or should we keep them combined? What price would you like to have on the packs? We want to sell a lot of them, so what would be your "impulse buy" threshold? As for the animals, all the talk in the forums before was about updated versions of the animals that were already in Poser. Now we see that that isn't really what people want at all. We are already in production with the horse and dolphin, so they will be released first. We may change direction after that and create a different variety of animals instead of following the old list. Any special animal requests? (I should make that a new thread...) Chris

I've wanted a parrot that you could pose realistically, for quite some time. I have tried to make one myself but don't have adequate skills. - with either two sets of wings (folded and open) or one set that can be posed both ways (hard, I know) - A neck that allows the head to rotate 180 degrees (they sometimes sleep with their heads resting on their backs, or preen their tails) - FOUR toes, not three. Two face forward, and two backward. They use their feet for hands as well ... ever see a parrot eat a peanut? It's a real treat to watch. - Posable tongue ... the tongue is sort of a third appendage. They can peel the skin off of a peanut with it after they crack the shell. - Morphs for different breeds - cockatiels, budgies, macaws, large parrots, parakeets, etc. But I think your "basic parrot" shape can easily be morphed from one to the other. Please, please, please, please? The other major pet groups have been represented, but I haven't found the perfect parrot yet ... even Vista's.

Hi Chris,

I love the idea of having separate packs for poses and animation. I love animation, but I do not use poses that much, so the separate packs seems great for me. My impulse buy price for animations would be on average between $15.00 to $50.00 (US Dollars) depending on how many animations were included in the pack. I don't mind spending more for animations, but only if they are great and there are a lot of them. As for poses, I would buy them if the price was between $9.00 to $20.00, also depending on how many poses were included in the pack. Thanks for supporting the babies!

HEY! A parrot would be fun to do! Very easy to support later with textures, morphs, props, poses and animation! Terrific - I'll put it on our list and bump it up high. Chris

I will love you forever!!! LOL

And if you need a beta tester or texturer I will be glad to help. 8-)

Yes, we will need testers - I'll let you know when the time comes. Chris
