Hmm thanx for the offer but MAt won't solve my problem. it is not your fault, it is a limitation of Poser; in fact it is true, Poser cartoon mode is not used very often and i guess curious labs people that thrown it in did not even thought people would push it too far, it was just a curiosity. I often have problems with it (as i use it daily) such as some props or camera angles that makes "hidden" z lines to show above front items /characters. Cartoon mode IN poser4 does not trat lights, materials adn such in a logic and accurate way. The only "toon" mode that allow uses of textures, transparencies (and so your suit) yet keeping outlines and such is through P5 material room and shaders... In order to use transparency, transmapped items or textured clothes in P4 using this mode is in fact an insane challenge at least for a newbie like me. I dont know about poser gurus, but for someone without strong knowledges about poser (can find some anywa) or even poser cartoon mode (nearly no inner knowledge found so far), working in such condition is insane :) I know many people use anime characters such as anime doll in 3d rendered mode.. it disturbs me a bit because such characters are aimed obviously to belong to anime look/style and most attempts (not in poser but on video games or advertising or animation) i saw just make them look awfully fake. Peopel used to complain about the "plastic mannekin" look of posette and dork ? foer me an anime character used in 3d mode feels just the same. Matter of taste. Some people i see on rosity manage to overcome it but they have very awesome skills and echnics, and i dont :). Plus, without any texture, the base color of animedoll body/head looks very dull in 3d mode. For it to look decent (to me) you need lot of postwork (i know because my shading technic needs to combine toon mode and black lines WITH shaded elements gained from a 3d flat render). Better use a body texture for her and keep her base to white. Only animedoll texture available though is from apphoenix and is in rmp, no free one. Don't need photorealism or steffy ZZ kind of work for her though, a plain texture with some noise and details could do the trick I am aware that all cartoon mode is not in fact a clever choice for newbies and that don't make products "easy of use" no matter the care put in them, but it sounds so more logical. Why not keep using mayadol instead then ? I mean she is nice and behave well as textured/3d character... Yes i think most animedoll products now only bear in mind Poser 5 features and users. It is just a burden and a source of frustration to keep using poser 4 AND anime/manga style at same time (but i am masochistic). As such, don't expect to see any work using your catsuits from me for days because i made estimations and it would take huge amount of time and renders to an unskilled person like me to make it work. The other alternative could be to reverse normals when need to turn a material invisible. would be tricky anyway and still could be buggy in some poses/camera angles. will have a try. About your suit though, for "normal" 3d use, i have a question: trims have "volume", are sligthly bigger than suit's areas, and they are too visible when you want to make some kind of suits or configurations. Are there morphs/poses or dials to flatten them so they merge/mix with adjacent parts ?
