Well you should probably read the manual a little to get yourself familiar with the software. My suggestion is to just play around with all the buttons and bells to see if you understand any of it. Basically, on your right you open up your library, it has Figures, Poses, Hair, Props etc., if you want a character (figure) in your screen, double click your choice and it shall appear in your screen, then click a part of the body and some dials will appear to your right, start moving them around and you will see what happens.
