Nope, IMHO not overkill at all -- they look great. In fact I have a few ideas for pics using Mia and/or the Second Nature figures that really would need a realistic set of claws to look good. The standard long-fingernail morphs just don't cut it.

Would it be possible to have the smart-propped claws (if you decide to do it that way) useable with standard Vicky or Posette hands? (I think that's what Mia and the Second Nature critters have.) Would it just be a matter of re-parenting each claw to its fingertip, or is something more complicated involved?

One more idea -- wouldn't smartprops give us the option of setting up claws in the toes as well, if we want?
