Subject: February Challenage - the slow death of a computer...

once again I leave rendering a massively CPU intensive challenge entry until the final week. It has been rendering for nearly 2 days solid and is only on the third pass (not even AA'ed yet!) Looks like another challenage i fail to enter :[ I think the file maybe slightly corrupted which is why is taking ages to render. On the plus side atleast its snowing! i came out of work to discover my bike lightly dusted with, what at first looked like a ton of icing suger, but later turned out to be really really crap snow for snowball fights. snowballs just fell appart in mid-air and the debris just floated slowly to the ground. iceballs on the other hand are quite hard and can smash car windows. we were having an exide verus DHL snowball fight with the DHL drivers nextdoor. one of them lanuched an iceball at us which missed and went throught the window of my boss' hire car. i have neither seen lard-arsed truck drivers move so damn quickly! excellent fun! I will keep you updated on the render situation. John

Lol....

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

A whiner is about as useful as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest.

update: my mum came into my room yesterday (28/2/04) when i was at work and discover my computer switched on and in her infinite wisdom, hit the power switch her excuse was: "well, it wasn't doing anything. it was just wasting electricity..." my response is not broadcastable. John
