It was NOT to keep down on floods of bad images. It was not to get Renderosity money, the idea of having a charge for more than one upload a day seemed to be more of an afterthought, since we knew that there would be SOME who would want more than one upload a day, might as well create a way for them to do so. but, take it as you will, lol. The limit wasn't Renderosity's idea. It was truly members who wanted the limit to begin with, and it was they who really rallied for it. A majority o four members didn't seem to mind, so... Limiting the the daily uploads does reduce the overall bandwidth, so it is THAT we are looking at, not the fact that the galleries have an upload limit vs. the forums, etc. Hope my ramblings help answer your questions, lol.
