My idea would be more along the lines of Carrara's rendering room being seperate from the core. Which would give you a few advantages. 1. You could work on a scene while the program is rendering. Something I really wish I could do. 2. Being seperate it should be allowed to be installed on multiple computers. Thus we could distribute the rendering of something over a network, not literally mind you, but at least we could use more then one computer to render. 3. You wouldn't have the entire Carrara app up and running in the background (all the rooms) and would just have the rendering engine which would improve (should) speed in rendering. Brian
