Hi Marty : the gun behavior is caused by a wrong center for the body : the body's center point is at 0.0.0 (green sphere on the pic), while the gun is in the air. So when you use the x rotation of the body, for instance, it rotates around the center of Poser's workspace (wich is a point in the middle of Poser's floor) and not around the rifle's center. When you desing an obj to be used as a basis for a character NEVER position it where it should be in the end. ALWAYS position it so that the point with coordinates 0,0,0 will be the point you want the body to rotate around. I have exported your obj and reimported it at the right spot, then made it a cr2. Now it behaves more predictably (see above : the original rifle in red, the one with modified obj in blue). I'll IM you the url of the newobj : the only thing you have to do is point the cr2 to this new obj. BTW : with so few bodyparts, I would not make this a character. A smartprop would be all right, with the buttock and IR sights both smartprops to the body, and the body smartproped to the anime doll's hand. Making this an obj is only interesting if you make moving parts (trigger, bolt, etc...) Just my 2 eurocents here. I must leave now : must go to the office (and already late...).
