I've had some outfits take 3 minutes to convert, others take well over an hour. It depends on what you're fitting, to whom, and how picky you are on the results. Fitting M3 clothing to V3 is pretty easy. I haven't had time to try the other way around yet. Something I learned the hard way - if you are fitting an overcoat to a character, don't make it just barely fit over the new character - make it a little roomy so you can put other clothing underneath it - unless your character is a flasher! ;-)
