Compiler, yes I knew the center point was down on the floor but I have been trying to change the centerpoint to the center of the gun last night. I am going to get your file where its naturally placed on its centerpoint. Does the centerpoint always have to be there? I have made this a figure for two reasons compiler. 1) It has an adjustable Stock. No I guess I didn't tell everyone and maybe I should have. The stock can be clicked and you will find only two parameter dials. One for adjusting it in and out and the other for making adjustments to how high or low it is on the gun. 2) I made it a figure because being a figure, gives Nansohi the means of changing textures on the gun by means of MAT files. There is no way I know of of using MATs on Props. Now I could assign one part of the body and call it rHand and make figure so it conforms to her hand but there is one problem. What if she wants to hold the gun by the stock as in the "shoulder arms" pose. Nanoshi has made different postions of the gun in reference to the hand in her poses. What I am saying is, I could make this product work conform only one way. Or work as a smart prop in many ways. The only thing about making a figure a act as a smart prop, the user has to go through assigning it as a parent in the heirachy (unless anyone can sugest a way I could set it up to do that task for the user). For some reason props seem sloppy to me. They are too easy to make and just seem "newbie" to me. They also lack options such as using MATs. So you see, in the end, its just a swapping of labors for the user - if I give them a one button setup on gun position, then they would have to set material zones by hand. If I give them buttons to set up materials for them, then they have to put more labor making it a act as smart prop them selves. I am working on a setup that makes this more user friendly and will have an example of it in the Final version. You have to take these steps with the gun. 1)first load the animedoll 2)second load the rifle 3)assign gun to hand in the hierachy editor 4)assign special pose to the gun it self to move it exactly into desired orientation with the hand - I have made two of these so far - one for holding pistol grip and the other for holding buttstock. I could make other gun pose for present arms for instance. 5)now the user can pose the gun and make orientations to gun by simply moving animedoll's hand and the gun follows. 6)there will be also a pose that effects the fingers on the right hand ONLY to make them wrap around the pistol grip. note)The only drawback is if you decide to change gun pose from pistolgrip to buttstock - you have to start again at step one with a zeroed animedoll. You also have to delete the gun and reload it. By the end of the next day or two, I will have a final product to pick at, lol. It will be not submitted until friday so that gives us plenty of time to test the finsihed product before submission.
