thanks. there are a lot of books written on composition too. One of the better ones happen to be design basics..forgot the author's name. Thin flat book..but deals a lot with everything that makes an image. You can apply it to every medium of art. Another thing we ought to get into is sacred geometry. yeah..even I flunked maths in school..but it isn't geometry as such..more with art..and a must to know. Also..always good to go back to Picasso (god, i hate his works..too cubic for me), to Monet, etc. http://wwar.com/artists/ (not a mistake on that www) has a bunch of stuff on the classics. Worth learning them.
