Sorry, I couldn't help myself :D Just downloaded the trial. I fiddled with the program a bit a while ago, liked it, but didn't quite get the same attachment as I would with Bryce. I personally think that it's a bit more user-friendly than its more experienced Corel cousin, maybe made for even easier use than Bryce, but... I don't know... I'll work with it a bit and see how it comes out, let you guys know :) drac *waves to zhann*

I have to say the smoke is amazing, but the shrubs around the tree could use a little work, maybe add some detail to the face on the sun, last time I checked he wears shades. :)

Wow, very realistic. It's almost as if I could reach out and.. crumple it up and flush it down the toilet. The sun spots are excellent though.

LOL...Your textures are excellent, your composition impeccable, lighting is awesome. Just one suggestion, how about a Poser import? :)

That's not really Vue, is it? They don't have trees in VUE! (grins)

Ardiva ( ) posted Tue, 09 March 2004 at 10:00 PM

Splendid job, Drac....VUE would be proud! :-)

pakled ( ) posted Tue, 09 March 2004 at 10:03 PM

are you kidding? the palm trees are practically defaults! (they're to Vue as mirror balls are to Bryce..;)

I had a go with the trial version of view but cant seem to get used to the interface, find bryce much eaiser. Also open Gl seems to mess up on my PC, did they fix that problem yet?

pertm ( ) posted Wed, 10 March 2004 at 5:30 AM

Nice work. I wonder what answers you would get at posting it in the Vue Forum...

brodiss ( ) posted Wed, 10 March 2004 at 6:40 AM

draculaz - i just love the realism of your VUE work :) this is certain to cause an impressive conversion rate of users from Bryce to Vue ;) to think this is what i've been missing

I won't vote for it unless it includes a bare-breasted Poser beauty dipping a toe in the water.....
