Hmmm..... not sure I can agree with this at all, I'm afraid. We've recently had to have a re-think about the family transport situation (ie, old car becoming more trouble than it's worth) so had to get a new car... sorted, nice car, great condition, plenty features.. 'er indoors is happy. But as the 'oldies' here will contest I've got this thing about the great British little car, the Mini.... well, it's been my dream for a few years to get another one, and tonight I did it!! I found an absolute bargain of a little beauty being sold cheap. It's noisy (they all are), it's uncomfortable (ditto), it's impractical with a family, it's slow (ie. 85mph flat out), and it's very few peoples idea of a dream car..... but they're great fun to drive and coming home with it I just couldn't stop grinning :D I even had to go back out as I'd "forgotten something at work" just for the fun of an hours' drive!! No, this dream fulfilled is just the start of the fun for me........ (",)
