Crusader Rabbit was the very first made for TV cartoon. It was produced by Jay Ward (who later gave us Moose and Squirrel -- Rocky and Bullwinkle to those of you who are not big cartoon fans). My best friend and I used to pretend we were Crusader and Rags (I was Crusader, he was Rags). Ah, those were the days.
