Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
When I need to have a quality image I always save from Poser in TIF format then convert to JPG using another graphics application. That way I have more control over the quality of the output. ie if I dont like the quality I just reconvert it at a different setting. I use Adobe Photoshop or ACDSee
I almost always (render and) save the image in Poser as a jpg file with the resolution set to 90 or 95. So far I have had good luck this way, with good image quality and a very small file size (usually less than 100kb). I am not sure if this is the same as what you are doing, if not you may want to give it a try rather than saving it as a tif and then converting it - unless you can do so in a program other than Poser, and PhilC suggested. How come everytime I upload one of by poser images in JPG format they end up really blurry because I've seen over people who can upload them with excellent quality. I've tried putting the quality of the image to maximum and saving it as a larger file and converting it to a JPG but nothing if someone can help me then it'll be greatly appreciated.
