Daz is a company they have a product that they are working on called Daz|Studio. Daz Studio is a poser like program with different features, a different renderer. Daz Studio will be free for the base application, and later addons for more functionality would cost, but it's all a bit early as to what the addons will be and what the final version of the application will be. I'm interested in finding out more about Daz and Newteks' new partnership that has been illuded to in posts and such and what Lightwave v8 and Daz have going on. I haven't decided if I'm going to upgrade to lightwave v8 as it's $495 and I do not know if I need it, but if Daz has something up it's sleave with their content or some such I'd like to read about it to see if spending money with either company would be a wise investment. rumors, speculation, but no real data yet.
