Have you ever came face to face with an actual macaw? No offence what so ever, I'm just being honest. Can the birds puff up their feathers? I've never met a parrot who didn't as it is their way of saying "pet me right here". My parrotlet puffs up only his tiny head while my cockatoo puffs up his entire body.

Also, what's wrong with that cockatoo Tattoo? His feathers look awful. Here's a photo of my Goffin's Cockatoo.
