Milk looks great, foam at edge and all.bacon could be sightly orange/yellower. A bit of transparency on the white over the yolks. A little pulpy texture on the oranges cut surface, lighter color on the Cheerios. Every thing else is SUPERB. These little things I pointed out are things I'm not sure I would or could change myself, and are humbly offered for your consideration. Awsome work. Mike
The scene looks to much like its nighttime. Maybe a little more sunlight coming through the curtains? The oranges and plates are dead perfect, but I'd like to see the flatware be a bit less reflective. You might want to redate it as 1960(??), I don't think that General Mills had that particular box (with the moon rocket promotion) until 1960 when Kennedy was voted into office. And, the box seems strangly lit compared with the other items on the table. Never ate many over easy eggs, so I won't even try to comment on them.

The china pattern, salt and pepper, oranges and milk look terrific... Need some crisp brown edges to those eggs, maybe some yellowish tinge to the fried whites, rippled terrains would make the bacon texture stand out more. For the china, a bit less spec and some reflectiveness with a touch transparency will make it look more 'porcelin like'. And tone down the graininess in the fabric curtains a tad, they look a little like stone... just my thoughts...hmmmmmm, wonder if we have any Cheerios in the pantry....

Let's call it 1960, then. :^) The graininess of the curtains is due to this being a 4 rpp render, LOL. The final will be much smoother. I may be used to getting up earlier in the morning than some... 1 a.m. weekdays and 5-6 a.m. on weekends. So it's usually still dark outside, Ricky. :^) Zhann, if there's anything crispy on my eggs, they're overdone. I like 'em runny. Thanks for the feedback, folks. I'm going to do a bit more tweaking and render at 64 rpp. A big one for the gallery and a little one for the Challenge area.

I'll be adding toast, too. Can't sop up runny yolk without toast. :^)

1960 works for me. You get up waaaaaaaay too early, tjohn. That schedule would kill me ... flat out dead. Whatever do you do that requires getting UP at 1:00 in the morning??!! And, you might still want to make it sunnier ... most of your viewers are not going to understand that point. They will expect it to be morning ... not THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKING NIGHT!!! (Really, how early do you go to bed?? ) :)

Ricky: 6-7 pm, sometimes later if I get a nap in after I get back home around 11 am. This is my nostalgic pov at work here, I really need the light to be a soft dawning light because we always ate breakfast at 6-7 am every morning. And I still do. :^) People in a factory environment on day shift eat breakfast that early too, every day, it's not that unusual a lifestyle. Not everyone waits for the sun to wake them up. :^)

And Ardiva, staring at this so long makes me hungry, too, LOL.

You work in a factory?? Must be a busy one if they have 24 hour coverage. I wait until the cats wake me up in the morning. Sometimes it's 5am, and sometimes they let me sleep until 8 or 9. But then, since I work out of my home, I pretty much take naps whenever I get tired, so I don't usually go to bed until about 1 am or so. (About the time you're getting up .. except for the 3 hour time difference.)
