Antonia - these guys are very authentic looking (at least, to my novice's eye). Even down to the doubling on the hamata. Sigh...takes me back to my youth. I use to collect weapons and armor from all over. Had a replica Pilum. It was very authentic. Too authentic. My stupid cousin threw it like a spear before I could stop him. Shaft bent like a #*$&#;($&(# and never looked right again. :/ Still regret selling all of it before moving to Seattle. Even my beloved Daisho set. It had a beautiful, slight blue tinge to the metal and the hamon was so sweet ... it looked like waves rolling across the blade. I should have kept it. Along with my Danish longbow (weird story behind that, short version - found it in a corner at an underground flea market in Pennsylvania) and also I had a Greek Kopis (that thing just radiated an aura of nastiness). Sigh. -=>Donald
