If I understand this properly, your problem is the windows taskbar at the bottom of your screen... right click on the taskbar, select properties, click 'always on top', ( at least for Win2K ) unclick 'autohide', click 'apply', click 'ok', when you reopen Bryce, the Bryce window will fill down to the Windows taskbar, but not overlap it.
