I have Bryce5 and don't bother any more with the task bar, I've never been able to access anything on it while Bryce is open, if you're doing tutorials, minimize Bryce, max the tut, then reverse, or print the tutorial out and keep it in front of you while you work in Bryce. Bryce seems to disable the bar as long as Bryce is open, at least for me, I have XP....
