I have noticed that stupidity (at least the assumption of it) seems to be rampant in the Poser forum; every other question is 'I'm stupid, probabably a dumb question'..so many people assume that a basic problem is 'dumb'. It does tend to wear on one..I've seen 'dumb' questions in here that are about python scripts, advanced texturing, etc., that's way above my level of understanding..treat yerself right, and just ask questions..;)
As for the documentation issue, most downloads have 'readme.txt' or such files that explain what it is, where it goes, and almost anything except who made it and where it came from..;). There's no real standardization, and sometimes folks just forget (my stuff on Peejay's site needs to be better documented, not to mention texutred, etc..;)
Heck, in my ideal scheme (I think I have one download like it), you'd have a thumbnail of the item, who made it, where it came from, what files are listed, etc., which would be a great timesaver..;)
One trick with the 'search' function in Freestuff, is that it tends towards exact matches; you have to make it enough words to narrow down the search, but not so specific that it misses something..usually 1, maybe 2 words to find thing..spoken by someone who's spent way too much time searching for freebies..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
