When Poser saves a subset of props the parenting 'smart' prop info' is not saved and all the seperate objects revert to being parented to the universe. So, as Little Dragon says, you need to locate the corresponding PP2 and edit it accordingly. Fine in Poser 4 but P5 will save the PP2 as a compressed file that is not readable by word processors etc. Turn off the compression in P5 to obtain readable PP2's. If you require your props to remain 'independant' of each other then exporting the objects as a single mesh will give disappointing results - everything will become as one when imported back to Poser and you will end up worse off!
