Came back from dinner and rebuilt the ear piece. I think this one looks a lot better, everything has a different material zone so you can mix & match to your style.

And the last results of my building... just exported it to .obj format, about to run it through UV Mapper so it can be Poser-fied (hopefully) then load it into Poser.

From me to you, my headset I made. ^_^ Enjoy. That along with all the other freebies I just submitted to Renderosity recently.

Whoa! That was pretty freakin' awesome! I thought the ABS one was good... it's even better. I like the guy in the beginning that's swimming... pretty cool.

Riddokun ( ) posted Tue, 30 March 2004 at 9:51 AM

hmm are those little red dots/lamsp switchable or hidable ? how does your head gear behave in cartoon mode ?

-Yggdrasil- ( ) posted Tue, 30 March 2004 at 1:25 PM

I don't know how to make morphs and stuff yet, but you can easily hide anything with transparency. Each little red dot/lamp is a seperate material. I believe in giving maximum flexibility with my stuff. ^^ That's why I'm always pushing for the foldable ears and things like that. In CWL mode, it's quite interesting... remember that bell I made... ^^

Can someone model the hat and/or sleeves? ^_^ I'm still a ways off from doing something of that magnitude (made a neat little weapon thing earlier today). That's I-no from *Guilty Gear* series, in case you were wondering.

Nanoshi ( ) posted Wed, 31 March 2004 at 7:38 PM

hmmm looks like Batlabs witchs costume, even the hat when on her head looks the same with the 3 stitches on the front, can see where he got the odea from now.

One week from today, Allisa or V3 by The Three3dZone Two weeks from today, Bikini for Animedoll Three weeks from today, Nanoshi's Jet pack package What ever we begin working on the mean time will come out next ----------------- The Bikini is only hours away from completion. I would like to have had Nanoshi's package ready for a two week release but, here projects are very complex and need more time. thank you marty

SenshiTaurus ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 10:43 AM

I agree with nanoshi, you can just use BAT's witch for her......

Riddokun ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 12:04 PM

about the bikini , will it work for Mayadoll basic too ? btw, talkin about requests, you seem to only be available for making rmp stuff (good ones, anyway) here, but would somene here considere making some "free" support as well, based on some official freebies for mayadoll such as her first cloth pack ? (i have some ideas/needs.. so far i try with my lame skills and little spare tim to try out myself to achieve what i had in mind, but well.. i am not very at ease.. at least would need strong magnet advices/ideas)

The3dZone ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 12:13 PM

i will be making some freebies soon available at my website what kind of stuff are you looking for?

insomniaworks ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 1:00 PM

I am lurking today, hehehehe. I am good and sort of specialize in tight fitting clothing. The reason being is that I am good at modeling them and am very familiar with the tasks needed for setting them up in poser. Although I appriciate all sugestions, I can not and do not have the time to work on every sugestion. I wish I did, but I have to weigh sugestions with what I feel confortable modeling because I can not make everything. Loose fitting clothing is a different kind of modeling challange than I am familiar with. Also, setting them up to conform and pose is different. This is why you havn't seen much like the which clothing comming from me. When I make a tight fitting clothing item for animedoll, I am putting out something that I am very familiar with making and thus, this is why I am so good at it, because I am specializing. I practically have a flow chart of procedures and know of all known problems and check for them before they occur. There is very little guess work at it, I know exactly what I am doing and I know the anatomy of anime doll and all her joint movements so well that I can almost edit her cr2's blindfolded, lol. But, every time I work on something different such as Nanoshi's geometries, I have to deal with new problems and rethink stuff. I don't mind new problems and thinking, but just a little at a time. I am always looking for new challanges. marty

Nanoshi ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 1:06 PM

hehehe I'll keep you in new challenges never fear :) I am about to undertake my own little modelling project, I don't think it will be a sellable item and it might not even make it to the freebie section (copyright issues) but it's something I want to build for my own pleasure to help me make some scenes I have thought about producing. I may however share it with a select few once I've finished it. That's all I'm saying for now ;)

looking good :) like the cloak and bracers :) if you make boots can they have cuffs on them please, I been looking for a good pair if cuffed boots.

-Yggdrasil- ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 5:25 PM

I have an idea where it's going... having just come from the City of Heroes beta. ^_^ I may be interested in something like that. As for I-no and the BAT suit, I tried that (reference my CC thread), but it's not the same hat. The closest top I've seen is from Awful Soul, the dress is kind of a mix between Taruru's and BAT's, but those sleeves are unique. ;X

SenshiTaurus ( ) posted Fri, 02 April 2004 at 1:27 AM

WOW! The Hero thingie looks good so far, keep it up! And like Compiler, i want to be on your list aswell. ^_^

looking at the warrior/rogue above the one in the dress she'd look cool with a pair of daggers strapped to her legs on those stocking top bands.

Nanoshi ( ) posted Fri, 02 April 2004 at 12:54 PM

I can make you some daggers if you like. maybe a sword too, think she'd look good with a Rapier?

Sure Nanoshi,I'm not one for making weapons, my direction in making these items, is to not hold to just one theme. I want it to have the option of being midevil or scifi/fantasy,without being too much of either. kinda like a "create your our hero" type of package. note though, that I still have to learn "poserizing" none of this stuff is moveable yet, they are just objects. so, it may be a while before they become a product of anything. Great work 3DZone. You are obviously getting much more skilled in your shape creation. Dresses are real hard to make work well in poser though.

insomniaworks ( ) posted Fri, 02 April 2004 at 7:20 PM

That is a very ambitous model. I am very impressed with those tractor treads, I can see that you are already using advanced modeling techniques. I am going to begin asking you for advice. I would suggest you go through some couple car modeling tutorials and study how to make flowing body designs. If you were to combine what you are doing with flowing curves, you will have very outragious designs and top sellers. marty
