Just wild speculation on my part

E-frontiers President has announced the study of technical synergy between Shade and Poser. If Shades animation, rendering and rigging engines are somehow merged into Poser 6, it will instantly gain the functionality of future versions of D|S with plug-ins. The only element the Japanese 3D giant would lack in order monopolize the market would be DAZs historical bread and butter content tailored for the Poser market.
