Robo, you might want to check the Shadow setting for each light that's set to cast shadows. A setting of 1.0 will produce the darkest shadows and settings less than 1.0 will produce lighter shadows. If shadows on areas of your subject appear to be too dark, try lowering the Shadow value on the light(s) that's casting the shadow(s). This might give you the result you're looking for without making the scene more complex and take longer to render with the addition of more lights. Nukem
