I have to agree with ddruckenmiller on this one. You are dealing with a fantasy stage play, so theatrical type lighting might help bring out your foreground characters, add some dimension and make them look less "stuck on". I really think you've got a great scene and characters put together here. I'm anxious to see the finished render.
